End Action?

Hi,

I am putting together a video that contains 5 sections of 50-100 photo's each.

The sections are obviously in my Scene Selection menu.

What I would like to be able to do is, instead of playing all of them, I would like it to go back to the Scene Selection menu after each section has finished playing.

I thought this would be achieved by setting "End Action" to Link to Scene Selection Menu.
But it just keeps going and plays right to the end.

Is what I want to do possible?

This sounds like it would be a better question for the DVD Architect forum -- but here's the best way to do it:

1) Instead of one long clip, make several short clips -- one for each segment you want to return to the menu from.
2) Add each clip to your menu page so that each creates its own scene link on the page. (This should automatically create End Actions that return you to the menu page after each segment plays.)
3) If you'd like to create a Play All button, right-click on the menu page and select the option to create a Playlist. You can then set the entire set of segments to optionally play as a continuance sequence.

I've got a book on DVD Architect Studio available on Amazon.com if you need step-by-step instructions for doing this kind of thing if you're interested.

thanks for the reply.

I have to admit that I rarely use the functions of DVD Architrect Studio past setting up simple "Scene Selection" menu's.

I will try the method's which you outlined, but at the same time am interested in the book that you have out there on Amazon.

Maybe something I can use.
