End Action and Beginning Audio

I've created 7 chapters on a small video with end credits at the end of the last chapter(a continuous file). Is there any way possible to make that chapters "end action" hold like you can with the menu "end action". I want my end credits to stay a little longer or simply to hold there. The only options I can see is for it to "LINK" back to the main menu or somewhere similar or "STOP" , which completely stops the entire dvd. I would really like the video to hold at the end of the last chapter somehow, or at least have the option of making it stay longer.

A second question, with the intro into a video from the menu page, is there any way in dvda to "fade in" the starting audio? It starts out full bore. thanks.. James

These are both items that you need to plan for when you are creating your media, not when you are authoring.

The closing credits can be faked by taking a shot of the screen you want to hold and using that picture as the background for another menu. The end action of the movie links to the menu. The menu has a hidden button on it and a timeout that specifies to activate the button after X seconds - the button then takes you back to the main menu or whatever. The only drawback to this approach is there may be a small blank space as the movie transitions to the menu (depends on the player).

The only thing you can do for the audio issue is to re-render the audio and set it to fade in like you want in Vegas.
