End-of-Object snapping and Crossfade time

On my version of Vegas at home (6 something) no matter what the snap setting I can't get audio object ends to snap to the original end point. On the demo version at work (6.0c b153) it does snap to the end. Is this a setting somewhere or was it a bug at some point?

Also, V6 displays the crossfade amount in a small box right in the center of the audio. This is often annoyingly in the way, can I turn it off?

Do you have quantize to frames turned on? This will snap to frame boundaries.

No, quantize to frame has no effect. I always have it off, and need it off.

To be clear, I'm talking about an audio objects start and end times. When dragging the left or right boundries it ussually snaps in place no matter if snapping/quantize is on or off. It behaves this way at work, but not at home. If it's a new option that would be helpful too.

Also, is there a way to turn off the "Reverse" icon!?

James- the snap issue is a bug that is fixed in the current version (6.0c)
