Enhanced DVD?

Can DVDA create enhanced DVD's? Not sure if that's what they are called, however a client has a DVD they want me to create that also has a separate .pdf file the user can access if they put the DVD in a computer. Otherwise the DVD is supposed to play and act the same as any other DVD. Could I just create the Video and Audio TS folders and then use another piece of burner software to burn those folders and the .pdf to the disc?

DVDA does support an "extras" folder to do what you want. However, i find it easier to burn in Nero anyway, so i just add the folder there.

But, yes, as Chienworks says, you can indeed set up an Extras folder on your DVD for non-DVD files and DVD Architect will burn those files at the same time as it burns the rest of the disc.

You can find the option under the File menu.

Thanks for the pointer! I'll have to do some experimenting. The DVD I was given as a sample just had the .pdf in the root directory of the DVD, not an extra folder, but that may not matter. I'll have to see what options DVDA has for this, and what exactly the client requires.

Thanks again.
