Well, you can carry a JCV D-VHS vcr with you or a JVC Mini-HDV recorder with you or a labtop with the MY-HD 120 Video card installed (I don't know if it will install in a labtop) and plug it into their HDTV to view. With the MY-HD card installed you can download the video from the Sony and then change the file ending from m2t to tp then select it with the menu on their HDTV and walla! You might have to carry a few cords with you.
It does sound feasible. Maybe some of the big guy's can help you out.

So does that mean that in order for my customers to view their wedding in HD is for them to call me to bring over my equipment again for them to see?And that would mean that I would have to purchase a new VCR when my camera already does the same thing
Thx, Eric

Still not enough!... Okay, I have the Sony HDR-FX1 and I will get the Cineform package. But now what? What can I transfer it on to? I called and spoke with Sony's tech support and they agree that putting the HD video on to a DVD will automatically lose all it's HD quality. So what's the point? I need to record weddings and the only way to show my customers the awesome HD qaulity is to attach my FX1 to their HDTV.
Now I will have to wait until they come up with HD-DVDs and players.
PLease correct me if I'm wrong, becuase I would love to be.
Thx, Eric

ERic,

Why not render out your project in wmv HD format and burn to a DVD? This can be shown on a PC equipped with WMP and certainly looks superior to standard definiiton. You can even purchse DVD players now that will play these HD wmv files and send their HD output to your HD TV via component connections. See this link for such a player: http://www.iodata.com/products/products.php?cat=HNP&sc=AVEL&pId=AVLP2%2FDVDLA&ts=2&tsc=.
