Enormous File Size

Relendra wrote on 7/16/2022, 7:21 AM

Hi,

I recently purchased Movie Studio 18 Platinum, and I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to make it work properly. There was supposed to be a guide/instruction manual I could download, but the download never worked, so I'm just learning by trial and error.

I just exported a 90 minute video from a project I'd been working on, and it took over an hour for the export process to finish. I thought this software was just very slow, but when it was done, the file size was 80 GB. Something went wrong - can anyone help me understand why it would create such an enormous file size, and what settings I can access that would result in a reasonable output?

You are on the wrong forum.Movie Studio 18 is not a Vegas program.
Try the Magix forum.

Movie Studio 17 was the last "Vegas" version. The upgrade for Movie Studio 17 and older is really VEGAS Pro.

@Relendra '..exported a 90 minute video from a project I'd been working on, and it took over an hour for the export process to finish' - I don't know your system specs but an average PC that's quite quick,
