Enter Your Serial Number - Active

Hi. I just upgraded from Vegas 6 to Vegas 7+DVD. I downloaded all the software, installed it, and registered it successfuly. However, I noticed two things:

1. If I access the Help menu in Vegas 7, the option "Enter Your Serial Number" is still active (i.e. it has not been greyed-out). In DVDA, this option is greyed-out. I am wondering why this option is still active in Vegas, even after I registered and activated it.

2. The number that is listed under the General tab of the "About Vegas" menu is not identical to the serial number that I received by email. Is this normal?

Hi guys,

Sorry to bring this up again, but I was wondering if anyone running Vegas 7.0a build 115 could let me know if the option "Enter Your Serial Number" under the "Help" menu is greyed-out or not? I would really appreciate some assistance.

The serial number under Help / About is not the same as the one you get. This is perfectly normal.
