It does seem like automating the rolloff parameter for the shelving filters can cause pretty obvious clicking in some cases. I am looking into it.

If your problem appears to be something else, I'd appreciate some more info in tracking this down. What parameters give you grief, what is your input audio like...

is this related to the WHOOMP!!!!! that you get if you adjust the low shelf in the vegas track eq?

OK, the parameter that I was using was primarily the low shelf gain in the track EQ. What is especially surprising is that merely adding a point on the envelope line (without a change in value) introduced a tick in the audio.

The input audio is classical organ music with a fair amount of bass. I was trying to EQ a few sustained bass notes which were overly loud for some reason.

Relax.....I'm sure an update is on the way. I'm having some probs too (similar to you) and I posted an entry about a week or 2 ago and sony responded to me saying that there is an update on the way.
