Error 0x8004e715 (message missing) when preparing a DVD

Hi guys. I had all this footage I'd capture from VHS and edited in Vegas. I then rendered both the video as a DVD Architect PAL video stream and the Audio as ac3 - stereo. Now, when I use DVDA to prepare and burn a DVD with this footage, all the clips work fine except one which reports this error right at the end of preparation.

Warning:An error occurred while writing a file. Error 0x8004e715 (message missing)

Anyone else seen this and know a solution?

Cheers

Are you running version 1.0c?

I had a similar problem this wekend . I had a three video clip project that would fail at the end of preparation. To solve the problem I took all but one video clip out and then re-ran the preparation. I then put one back in at a time and re-ran the prepare until I found the one that was causing the prepare to fail.

It turned out to be a bad ac3 file. I recreated the ac3 file and all was well.

I am running DVDA 1.0c.

I have just encountered the same problem, but I have prepared many files in DVD-A, using third-party AC3 tools (BeSweet AC3 transcoder) and muxing with TMPGEnc. NOw, I think I will just use the WAV files as the audio tracks, letting DVD-A re-encode using its own AC3 engine.

Anyone else know why this is happening?

I had the problem when converting AVI's created by my still-image camera.

Seems that, using the Morgan M-JPEG CODEC (recomended on SonicFoundry's site), if I manually renamed the files produced by Vegas, DVDA would display the "Message Missing."

Re-rendering the video/audio for the offending MPG corrected the problem.
