Error - creating a proxy file for a stream...

I recently reset to factory settings to correct freezing issue, now an existing project shows no audio peaks in time line, I get: "an error occurred while creating a proxy file for a stream. The reason for the error could not be determined."

I was able to render successfully, however after rendering issue persists.

Audio is present to hear from the speakers, just no visual on time line, with peaks

Movie studio 16.0 Platinum (build 175)

Windows 10 HOME

You should have problems if those peaks are not available for your sourcefile. I think now it is not a real problem for your result.
You can controle the presence of the real peaks by looking in the sourcefile location or by switching the view to best/full.

Hello, I have switched the view to best (Full), still experiencing the same error, this time went to 99% before error, time line audio tracks have "peaks not available", otherwise seems to be working

Is there an option for auto save as I am working on a project?

once today, system froze, I sent the auto generated report including extra information (just a side note, incase you have access to that report)

not sure if multiple tracks can be an issue? I have 6 cameras/tracks in sinc...

Go to Tools/Advanced Save...
There you find this to choose how much and when

Before you go on I advice you to read that all.
