Error creating proxy file for stream

In Vegas 9d, I got the following error opening my current project. Rebooting did not clear it, but older projects open without the error:

An error occurred while creating a proxy file for a stream.
Error 0xc00d002f (message missing)

I don't see any reference to this error in the Knowledge Base. It affects the waveforms which should be visible for the project audio, although the audio plays on all tracks in preview. I have not moved any of the project files.

Any ideas?

Upgrading to 9e does not clear the problem.

Before the problem occurred, I created a directory within the directory holding all of the project files, but it is not involved in the project.

I hope someone has some insight into this. It's a 3 1/12 minute music video for a friend, but has a lot of cuts, and I'd rather not start over.

Possibly, one of your files is either incompatible or corrupt.
Try deleting any temporary files associated with your project. These are usually sfk or sfl.
Why don't you post the full file details using MediaInfo, and also upload a clip somewhere for us to take a look at?
