Error downloading VP15

Matthew_T wrote on 11/6/2017, 4:35 AM

After downloading the .exe for VP Suite 15, I try to run it and I keep getting the error in the photo.

I have 2 download slots and 1 has been used up already it doesn't want to run on my second computer for some reason. I have restarted my PC, reinstalled the .exe but I get the same error.

I appreciate everyone's effort in helping to resolve my issue.

EDIT: I also must add that there are definitely no problems with my network but I believe that it could be something to do with the download not connecting with the server to verify the download. Just my thoughts.

I think it's a security setting, but fist I like to know the exact name of that exe file because if I try to reload VPro 15 I have to download a small auto-executing ".......-dlm.exe" file.
That one opens a screen to makes choises what to download.

After make choises and clicked "ok" the installation files will be stored at your documents and the install begins after the download(s) is(are) finished.

It's "vegaspro15suite_dlm.exe"

I don't have one. Which free VPN would you recommend?

hmm - see if this can help https://www.betternet.co/

Note: I only use it for registration/activation purpose of other application if needed. Without using this, the activation process failed, but I never tried it for large download - as for larger download via web / browser - I use Opera Browser with VPN function turned on.

(Previously I was using other vpn - hideme - but then my LAN network messed up - other computers can't access my PC - in the end I have to do restore system🙈)

I went ahead and downloaded the VPN and connected but I still receive the same error message. Thanks for the suggestion though.

There are links to download all the separate components of VP15 Suite in section 5 of this thread. The screenshot below shows what should be downloaded if the installation manager works correctly:

I tried all of the VP15 links in the thread you linked, even the trial. I still get the same error message as shown in my original image and it happens after I launch the VP15 executable. It's really odd considering I had no problems when installing on my other PC first.

EDIT: I need to mention that the picture of the window you uploaded does not appear for me at all.

- Do you have there an administrator account and are you administrator with all the rights?
- Virusscanner? Try to switch it off during downloading and executing that first file.

I am the admin, I have checked all of the permissions and everything there is ok.

As for the virus scanner, that made no difference.
