I get the same error message with the TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-R5002.A solution would be very nice.

I used to get errors similar to those until I checked the "skip drive database, autodetect drive capabilities" under Preferences.

Just use the Video_TS and Audio_TS folders created by DVDA and burn them to the disk with the software that came with the drive or some other software like NERO.

When did you purchase that drive and does it have the latest "firmware" installed. If you browse the forum you'll see a couple of instances where, even though the drive was recently purchased it had out of date firmware. I have the same drive and I'm not having your problem, but I updated my firmware before I received DVDa so I cannot say whether or not I would have had the problem.
