error message

I'm using V4d build 205 and im getting a message when i load my project that says...An error occured while loading the project file "filename.veg" The file could not be created. Another file with that name exists.

What does that mean, and is there a way around it, or am i screwed?

Is it only this one project that is causing the problem? If so, try renaming the file before opening it.

Good idea, but no go. The file opens up to about 45 percent before the message appears. Is it possible there is a corrupt avi file its reading, then giving me the error message? Yes, it is several files, but all of the same project, just different progressions.
