I have windows 2000 Professional NT and running Athlon. I am aware of NT non compatiblity with CDA5 but my dads computer is burning the CD and uses the same OS and is not recieving the error. This leads me to believe I can fix the problem. Never had problem burning before with other programs but mixing down and album and wanted the CDA finishing touch. Well this is the error message I recieve.

I think the issue is that you are using NT, which is not officially supported with CDA5 (see the system requirements). It requires DirectX 8 which will not work on NT. Time to move to 2000 or XP.

I see you made a few changes to your original post. Oh well...you might want to see if there is a firmware upgrade for your Mitsui drive that might fix the problem.
