Error opening file

Any ideas whats happening. this is an old file I havent used in a while and it might be that I created it with Vegas 4 but I dont remember for certain. The backup file says the same error.

Does the problem file have any *.bmp (sometimes*. jpg images as well) images in it? If so, this was a known problem in Vegas 5.0a and was solved with the 5.0b update. Even if that's not your problem, I'd suggest upgrading to the latest version ASAP as it has several bug fixes and see if that solves your problem.

I updated and the problem went away, thanks!

I did have jpg files in my project.

Glad to have been of help Sami. In my case, it was bmp images that were crashing it and the 5.0b upgrade fixed it.
