Error opening mono audio files using Vega Pro 15

Hello everyone! I want to discuss how to resolve some issues that i have, if possible. First of all, im not used to anything about video and audio definitions, so please be patient <3

Everything started when i tried to open a .mp4 video with mono audio (Intel HEVC, 44.100Hz, 2 Streams) in Sony Vegas Pro 15.0. At first, the video's audio in Sony Vegas was horrible, unrecognizable - but when i opened with Windows Media Player, the sound was OK. Every other stereo video was ok when opened with sony vegas or windows media player. A strange thing is, that there is some video files with mono audios that i can open and shows correctly too, and some dont

So i searched, and after doing some tricks (right click on the Vegas, hold shift and click on ''Preferences'', ''Internal'' tab and put ''False'' on ''Enable So4 Compound Reader for AVC/M2TS'') the video with mono audio was correctly displayed in Sony Vegas. Everything was great until now.

Then i opened a project in Vegas that was using a video with multi-track audio (the game's sound and my mic's sound) and the second track (mic's sound) was replaced by the first track (game's sound). I tried to open the same video in a new project, and both audios was displayed correctly, but in this time the video didnt appear.

Is there a way that i can open .mp4 videos with mono-audios AND .mp4 videos with multi-track's audios in the Sony Vegas at the same time? Right now im taking off every video with mono audio/trying to change to surround audio and its working, but you know... I wanted to know if there is a way where i change something IN the Vegas, not in every video that i use....

Anyway, if someone have a clue, be welcome <3 i appreciate it

Dont know if it matters, but im using a notebook with Intel Core i5-4210U CPU 1.70GHz 2.40GHz, 8GB Ram, 64 bits, Windows 10. Nvidia graphic processor. Kinda bad with computer's terms and english too ROFL

First thing, make sure you are using the latest version of Vegas 15, as they fix various bugs with the updates.

If there is any way you can upload one the files that are causing the problem, I will try to reproduce the error on my system and see if I can find a solution or workaround.

In fact, that was the solution fr0sty ROFL

I've updated my Sony Vegas to the last version and now everything is ok! Probably was some kind of bug that got fixed. Now I can open mono audio videos AND multi-track's videos at the same time. The sound on both are now working perfectly! Unfortunately i lost my last project, since the mic's sound is still disappearing. But nothing that i cant recover in one day or two.

Thank you very much!
