I have not had any problems with Vegas for almost 2 months now but I just tried to open several veg files and got this error:
Warning: An error occurred while loading the project file .veg
An error occurred when loading a DirectX plug-in or plug-ins. The DirectX plug-in(s) specified are not installed on this system.
Details just shows 000000000-0000-0000-0000-0000000000000
repeated several times.
The veg file had a transition replaced with the squeeze transition, I believe it was just a disolve before and there were other disolves in the file that were not affected.
I know at least one other person had this problem because I copied the text of the error from his post on the Cow, thanks Chris F. He said he had transitions that were messed up and some stills missing from the veg.
I changed the squeeze transition back into a disolve and saved the veg and then reloaded and did not get the error. Stranger still I tried to load the second veg file that gave the same error and it no longer gives me that error. But I can't recall which one it was to check to see if media is missing or transitions changed so I guess I will have to check them all.
Anybody else seen this?
