Error Running Scripts - .NET Error

Hi, when I try to run a script, I get the error:

"Failed to initialize script engine - please install the .NET Framework"

Well, I installed the .NET framework using Windows Update (ver. 1.1). So I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it using the standalone installer for .NET 1.1.

After installation and reboot, I tried again but got the same error!

Can anybody offer me some advice? I've uninstalled and reinstalled .NET twice and between each install I ran a registry cleaner to kill left over registry entries. Nothing works. I tried it on another PC and the scripts ran perfectly.

Help!

On some machines, after installing the .NET framework it is necessary to uninstall and then re-install Vegas. Don't know why. Try that and let us know if it works then.

Just after I posted this message, I uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas Video and the scripting worked just fine. Thanks for your response!
