Error "The Selected Folder is not Valid" message

Installed Vegas 6.0b and DVD Architect 3.0b on new Win 7 pc. It had worked great on old xp computer but slow.

All went ok with project until I went to burn to DVD. After opening and previewing project, went to "Make DVD/Burn/Prepare Current Project". No matter what folder I choose, new or existing, get this error message:

"The Selected Folder is not valid. It is either not possible to create the folder or you do not have write access."

Any suggestions?

Where have you set DVDA to make the temporary files? Does it point to a non-existing USB or network drive?

Thank you Peter. With your post, I went to options/preferences/Burning Tab and set the two files to my external hard drive and it prepared project. Then it wouldn't burn as error said ...without system administrator privileges". Did a search and had to lower User Account Controls in Windows. After burning reset controls.
