Error when starting Vegas.

Hello everyone,

I searched forum, but didn't find anything. I just installed DVDA 5 (upgrade to DVDA 4.5). After that when I start Vegas 8 Pro (8.0b) I get this error message:

An error occured starting Vegas Pro.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

Sounds like you're running a server and terminal services. Did you change terminal service modes before installing? (Using Add/Remove programs to install) Also, some programs aren't capable of running with terminal services. I haven't tried DVDA 5 on a TS server so I'm not sure if it's compatible.

The same happened to me. I however just restarted my computer and all was ok afterwards.

I restarted PC and error was gone.
