Error with TIF file

4110 wrote on 10/14/2006, 1:18 PM
When I try to import a file in tif format I get the following error:

"Warning: An error occurred while opening one of more files.
The file format plugin for the specified format was not properly initialized."

It worked fine in V6. What do I need to do to get V7 to import tif files?

Thanks,

David

Try installing Quicktime 7. TIFF is an Apple format, and Quicktime is required in order to use TIFF files in Vegas. And, for some reason, it seems that Vegas 7 needs Quicktime 7 (rather than Quicktime 6 or earlier) to open some Apple formats.
