EULA annoyance

I rebuilt a computer with all new hardware save for the HDD's but also added an SSD then reloaded my old Win 7 mirror onto the new SSD. Then I loaded all the new drivers, etc. Everything was pretty cool for the most part. But SVP 11 & 12 wouldn't open. SVP 10 did, but I use 12 now. So I downloaded and reinstalled SVP12-770. All works great except I have to agree to the EULA every time I open Vegas.

I saw a post where it was recommended to remove the EULA splash screen file but when I did, Vegas wouldn't open. Is this Sony's way of warning me that I can't load Vegas 12 anymore because I'll exceed the limit soon?

Any ideas?

Hi,

this topic has I believe been covered quite a few times on the forum. From memory, I think that you'll find that if you contact SCS customer service, they'll set you right and again, from memory, most forum members report they help out on this topic quite efficiently. Hope this helps.

Regards

Just upgraded from HDD to SSD via cloning.

When opening VP12 the EULA notice now pops up. "Agree" and vegas opens up.

There are 2 'eula' files in c:\program files\sony\vegas pro 12.0, eula and eula.dll.

Renaming eula.dll to say eula.dll.org stops vegas opening. Period.
Renaming eula to say eula.tmp allows vegas to fire straight through. Business as usual.
