from: Eric Dettman " sends Greetings, From the Vegas Team - Grouping of the Old and even older Vegas programming staff .....
as by Eric Dettman on May 26, 2016 at 8:56:28 am

"Our intent is to have a release of Vegas available in the fall of this year, and continue developing and supporting Vegas into the future. We would like to hear from you, the members of the Vegas Pro community, regarding your favorite features, specific things you would like to see addressed, and questions you may have. "

Would someone who can reply to the Creative Cow post - please reply to ERIC DETTMAN and tell him that they need to data mine the current SCS software forum to actually get the response he is looking for. HE needs to do this before the forum is disconnected (soon) from Sony.
He also needs to look at the gigantic "Problems with Vegas database " that SCS has maintained over the last 10 years. If they haven't already destroyed it or left it out of Magix purchase dealings.

All this talk about the forum getting the plug pulled ... really?

Wouldn't it make vastly more sense in all aspects for Magix to take it over and continue running it, just like SONY did so when they took over? It didn't die then. Why would it die now?

Note the Catalyst forum never did reside on this domain but on Sony.com. My guess is Sony kept this server segregated. I'll bet it's part of the deal.
