Event FX Windows Problem Vegas Pro 20 (Build 214)

Anytime I apply an effect to the timeline or specific clip, or when I try to add text, the FX will not show up on the preview until I close the window. That means that I am unable to adjust the FX's or Text in real time. I am forced to guess and close the window to see the results. I have attached a video below, showing an example.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas Pro. I have rolled back the updates, as well, but it has not fixed the issue. I am curious if this is a conflict with one of the recent Windows updates, because the problem seemed to pop up out of nowhere.

It's a problem with the NVIDIA driver most likely though you haven't described your system at all. Try studio driver 522.30.

Thank you! I also got the same problem running on a new updated version of drivers for Nvidia..I went bck to 522.30 and it worked.

Using Studio Driver 528.24, and going well. The VP Help Update Driver is still nudging me - I've desisted and resisted 😉.

Not an issue for desktop RTX cards so use whatever driver you prefer.

Oh, I hadn’t picked up on this was solely for, laptops? Maybe nVidia should know about this?

They should know about it. After months of inaction I opened a support ticket. I'd encourage others to as well.
