Event Pan Crop tool... stopping decimal placements

is there any way in Event pan and crop that i can stop decimal placements being used for XY Position?

Reason i ask is that i get alot of 4:3 footage which needs cropping to 16:9 and i have found a pretty serous problem

With interlaced footage (lower first() , If your not using an even figure for either the fram size, (preset 16:9) or the actual XY positioning u will get motion artefacts and some really fffff'ed up interlace issues, even if you interpolate to progressive..

It seems vegas redraws/reinterlaces before anythign else is done to the clip, as i do not have this problem with progressive footage.
Now this happened on straight 4:3 witha Black mask and with 43 converted to fit 16:9..
Now what ive noticed in the pan crop tool, is that Vegas will be accurate to a decimal point of a pixel, now i believe this accuracy although good, is messing quite bad with the reframing of the frame itself and reinterlacing using that frame size BEFORE deinterlacing..
Now im not scaling anything and im not changing any pixel aspect, and it still does it

so, is there a way i can stop this decimal placement from being recognsied?
Is there a way where i can shift the pan and crop in segmests of 2 pixels?

this would, and inevitably does fix this problem...

I've never really worried about it. For large movements i usually type in the exact numbers i want. For smaller movements i usually click on the up & down arrow buttons which move in integral increments.

i hear u... numbers are fine, but its tedious.. as for "up and down" it does indeed use decimal places and this is wher the problm lay as the frame reinterlace prior to deinterlace is thrown off if u slide up or down to an odd number..
