I was wondering if someone could correct me if I am wrong with my approach.
Sony Vegas 8, EX1, VX2000.
I shot the EX1 footage in HQ 1080 / 60i
The project is a standard 720 X 480 NTSC 4:3 DV project. Most of the footage will be that of the VX2000.
The question is adding in the EX1 footage (if I want to - not sure yet).
I wrapped the EX1 footage in an MXF wrapper using Sony Clip Browser and imported it into Vegas Pro 8.
Also imported the DV footage from the VX2000 captured with Scenalyzer.
I put the EX1 footage on the timeline on it's own track and crop it to 4:3 using the Pan and Crop tool in Vegas.
If I cut in the EX1 footage to the project, will I have a problem when I render the project the way I did it?
Should I have rendered the EX1 MXF to a new track first? And if so, with what settings.
Or am I doing it the right way?
Thanks
John
