EX1 - render for HDTV broadcast

What format and codec are best suited to render a video for HDTV broadcast in NTSC land using a SONY EX1 cam?

Could NEO-HD be good for this?

On what type of support should it be transferred to?

As far as levels are concerned for HDTV renders, is setup still 7.5-100 ire? Should my camera be set to 7.5 setup?

Just got an EX1 and new computer, moving from SD to HD, I have a lot of catching up to do!

-There is no "NTSC" in HD. Just 60i, 30p, 24p.
-Broadcaster determines what you will deliver on. Might be HDCAM (most likely) or D5. Some b'casters will take a drive as well. ESPN and EXPN will both take drives, but the content will have to be an uncompressed format, or an MXF XDCAM-35 or 50 stream. One of our partners accepts XDCAM HD discs for delivery as well.
As your broadcaster about levels. Although you can push the HD levels above 100, it's often not appreciated. A recent world record event pushed to 105 (approx) and they were a tad tweaked at EXPN, but CNN and Fox didn't care.
At the end of the day, the broadcaster recieving the master makes all decisions for you.

Could I then render from within Vegas to MXF XDCAM-35 format and dump it to an esata drive?

And what about NEO-HD, having an EX1 cam, are there any benefits for using their codec for any other needs?

CINE2 is broadcast legal.

To preview a complex project at full frame rate you will need NEO HD.
