Excalibur icons don't show in Vegas6 toolbar

I have the latest version of Excalibur.
In Vegas6, I go to "customize toolbar", and try to add several of the tools from Excalibur. The tools appear in the dropdown list from which I can "ADD" items to the Vegas toolbar--but they have no icons. When I add an Excalibur item, a new BLANK rectangle appears in the Vegas toolbar. If I mouse-hover over that blank rectangle, it says it is the Excalibur tool I just added.
But obviously this is of no use without the icons - in fact, it's very dangerous without the icons.
How do I get the icons to appear??

Try closing Vegas and reopening it. I’ve found that sometimes Vegas gets into a state where my icons disappear but the buttons are still there. Trying to re-add them back doesn’t even work (which is the state I think you’re in now). The only thing that seems to fix it is to exit Vegas and restart. Try it and see.
