Excessive Burn Time

Using CDA5.0a along with NR2.0 it took almost 16 hours to burn a single CD consisting of 8 music tracks. The project was originally vinyl burned to CD then run through CDA and NR Plug-Ins (Vinyl Restoration, Click&Crackle Removal,Noise Reduction).
My PC is a P4 2.0G, burner is a Samsung 40x. I set the burn speed at max, saw it was going nowhere fast and reset at 12x. Same probelm. I used Sony CD-R (DA) discs.
Are the plug-ins killing it? Thanks.

Did you try burning it without the plugins? At any rate, you should probably perform restoration and noise reduction in a program like Sound Forge, render it and then bring in to CDA for assembly, final tweaks and burning.
