explorer will display nothing

Hello I don't no if anyone can help ? I'm using pro 12 on a windows 8.1 system. My explorer is empty refreshing does nothing.I've tried uninstalling and re-installing from Sony that didn't work Version 12.0 (Build 770) 64-bit

I Don't know why I didn't use the search bar before, explorer works fine for me when I type a simple letter for a drive, like "C" DRIVE knock on wood.
