Export Lossless

I have Movie Studio 15 and I Imported a video I took

I only need 5. minutes of video out of the 20 minute video.

I know even if I cut it down I still need to keep my 20 minute video on my Hard Drive so my project can always open it again.

So I go the program LosslessCut to let me cut my video and just save the 5. minute part to my Hard Drive to save space.

It will export the video as is without Re Compressing it.

I just exported 2. of the same video one with the audio and one without the audio.

They both are 218 MB in size.

The one without the audio should be smaller in size Right?

Can anybody help?

I'm not familiar with that program, but you could do a bit of detective work that may identify the reason. Download and install the free MediaInfo app and then run it on both exported videos and in 'View' select the 'Tree' view. This view option includes "Stream Size' under both Video and Audio details. It may be that the audio stream size is so small that it's not enough to increase the overall size to higher than 218 MB which is probably a rounded figure (i.e. not 217.727 MB or the like).

@Robert-Costo I've never seen this in any of my versions of Vegas Movie Studio. Obviously I've missed something. Where exactly is this option?
