I have rendered many dozens of MPEG-2 files using the stock DVD template, and DVDitPE has no problem opening or burning these files. Did you maybe change the MPEG custom settings before rendering?

I regret that you will have to seek Sonic Solutions tech support. They do not document their error message worth a ding and it is difficult to get solutions with out them telling you what the program is complaining about. Your error may be related to an item on you menu.

Oh this is just great. The original poster doesn't even say if the error is occuring in VV3 or DVDit and kkolbo (who shall be ignored henceforth, nice forum feature :-)can't write clear English. And kkolbo wonders why tech support is hard.

First of all, to back up SonicEPM, it is definitely possible to do this successfully. Make sure you are using the updated renderer that comes with the latest Video Factory download.

voytek, which program is giving this message and when is it occuring?
