Export Multicam Proj Archive, No Multicamera View

I exported a multicamera project to a Vegas Project Archive. It copied all the files to the target folder, but when I open the project from the archived files, I can no longer see the different camera shots when I choose Enable Multicamera Editing. I only see the active shot with a color border around it.

Is this the way it is supposed to work?

Is the multicamera track still in the projects timeline or has it been split into several tracks after you archived it?

The multicam track is there and the timeline looks just as it does in the original project. It previews just as the original project.

I just can't see the "non-active shots" when I go into multicam editing, so the exported version is pretty much no longer editable, as least not as far as changing shots.

I would have to try this with one of my multicam projects. Did you use Vegas own archive method or Vegasaur?

Edit:
You are right! It doesn't allow multicam editing anymore. That might well be a bug. I have not used this feature at all as it is only available recently I always use Vegasaur for it.

Edit 2.0:
If you copy the original .veg file into the archive folder it will work again. It seems the multicam track info is lost during the archive process.

I used the built-in export function. I assume (hope) that's a bug. Surely they would not design it that way :-)

Thanks for the workaround!!
