Export Single Frames

Hey all,

Is there a way to export single frames from the Vegas timeline to, say. jpeg? I couldn't seem to figure it out last time I tried.

Click on the "Save Snapshot" button above the preview screen and then pick either JPG or PNG as your format.

If you are talking an entire series of still frames, either use a script to do this task OR frameserve to an external program that will save the individual images.

Make the preview window Best-Full, then click the floppy disk icon next to that. That will prompt you for a filename.

Sure, I knew that. I was just testing to make sure you guys (gals) knew that. Thanks, "Best-Full and click the floppy" - got it. I guess I'll need to start learning about the scripts, as jetdv said, if I wish to export an event as a series of still images. Perhaps V6 will have this feature. But this works.
