I am currently using Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0. The following problem has only come up recently, as the program has worked perfectly in the past.
While previewing the video, the program will either crash (resulting in a window to pop up asking me to type up what I was doing when it crashed) or stop responding (where I have to force the program to close down).
This normally happened only when previewing parts of the video that had .mp3 files. At first, when I first added in the .mp3s, they would show up normally, but no sound would play, so I removed and readded them from the Project Media; the crashing started after that.
Now I've copied and pasted the timeline from that project into a blank .vf file. The music shows up and plays perfectly, but now when I get to certain random parts of the preview, the program will crash. The same happens when I export. I can get to ~5% before it crashes.
This has led to a lot of frustration. Does anybody know how to fix this? I am willing to provide any further details if necessary.
