Exporting as Still sequence

There have been some posts about using PSP and PS to batch process individual frames exported from V4. I know how to export ONE frame. Is there a way to export a clip as a series of JPEGs? Is there another program or plug-in maybe? Thanks in advance.

If you go to the Sony Vegas Download site there is a link to download scripts. In that zip file is a render images script.

Run it from vegas, give it a directory, file sequence name, start and stop time and it will create the jpg files. Works like a charm!

"render images script" is so slow as to be unusable for large seq's ..

a much faster way (5-10x the speed) with same quality is to use the plugin pak frame server and render to it ...

then open pointer avi in a program like virtualdub mod or tmpgenc (or others) and save out as targa , jpg or bmp files...

i used to also render to QT / targa codec , then open QT file in QT pro and save out as targas (which is also pretty quick)
