exporting audio from Vegas movie studio

I Vegas Movie studio platinum and got Acid XMC with it. Is there a way to export the audio from a video capture so I can adjust clipping?
Or is there a way to normalize and adjust for clipping with Movie Studio?

I once asked the same question.

Instead of Making a movie, choose "Render As" under the main menu. You can output as .wav, mp3, ogg...

Go to Options / Preferences / Audio and you can select an external audio editor. If you right click on the audio clip you'll get the option of editing the clip directly (which may not work - depending on the editor) or edit a copy.

To normalize audio in VMS 6, right -click on the audio event, go to properties, then check 'normalize'.
To adjust clipping, you might like to look at SoundForge Audio Studio or Sound Forge.
