When you render there is an option to include markers and other data with the file. Render to .WAV as this format supports markers. Burn a data CD with the .wav file on it, not an Audio CD.

Thanks, can I use any software to burn (i.e. windows explorer, nero, etc...) or should I use Vegas?

I've rendered the file as an .wav extension, however when I preview the track in Windows Media Player the audio is just one big track. I made sure that I selected to include the markers. Any ideas?

There's a special "CD Marker" you get by pressing "N" instead of "M". That will create the break points for a CD allowing you to go to the next track. I explain the process in Vol 1 #10 of my newsletters

ge - the markers are unique to Sony software, and not recognised by the other apps like media player.

WMA files can include markers, WMP will not display them by default.

However as there's no industry standard way of putting in markers that I know of there's no way to know for certain that the app the client is using could read them.
The only surefire way is to create an audio CD with tracks, Vegas can do this. The downside is you'd have to convert to 44.1KHz and at the other end for DV back to 48KHz sampling. Probably not a big issue though.
On the pro side it might be worth investigating OMF or AAF formats but I know zero about these.
Knowing what the client needs to load the audio into might be a really good clue here.

If all else fails TC written on paper is very universal.
