Hello, to make my montage i would like to use the external monitor fonction, what is Blackmagic Design deckLink and OHCI compliant IEEE ? what is the better solution Windows secondary , blackmagic or Design decklink ? will i have problems with jerkinng images like in the internal preview when i use 'good quality' parameter, i need to control if my transitions are not too long or too short without to have to render the project to see the final result.
Many questions.
Thanks in advance for help.

BMD Decklink can provide monitoring via SDI. Looks VERY nice but a monitor with SDI input is very expensive.
OHCI = firewire. Then you need some form of digital to analogue converter to feed S-Video or composite video to either a monitor or TVs A/V inputs.
Certainly some form of external monitor is very desirable however it will not solve the issue you are seeing.
First drop the preview quality to Preview Auto will help, or you can try RAM preview or else render part or all of the project to a new track. Also if you highlight part of the timeline and set Loop on Vegas will buld the looped region in RAM, so you'll see the frame rate increase gradually until you get full motion preview, assuming the looped region will fit in RAM.
