I am using a dsr11 that has always worked well in previous versions (ihave been using vegas since v2) and still does on a m/c with v6 on it. I am using v7e -- build 216.

I have setup the monitor as p274 of the manual. When I click on Preview on external monitor in the preview screen, the button activates but nothing happens.

I can capture from the dsr11 and preferences|preview device sees the dsr11 as an OHCR device.

I can successfully set preview on the second monitor.

I have "import from handycam" that came with my HC7E (great camera BUT NOT 2LUX as I know it -- it is 3 stops different to the PD150 i have!!) installed which seems to try and take over the dsr11(unsuccessfully!!) when I connect it -- might this be the problem?
