external monitor setup and recommendation?

Hey Guys:

I've heard alot about the absolute necessity to preview your work on an external monitor. I am looking for a recommendation on a monitor (fairly cheap) and also - I have the Pyro A/V Link. Will this enable me to hook up to the external monitor - and if so, how do you do that?

I know it's alot to ask, but thanks for your help in advance.

Actually, MH, I was responding to Slacy's request on the price range? 200 to 1,000. And this kinda put me in mind of the monitor I bought - not HD - which is what I was responding to. Hey, one day I'll get the ackers together to make the HD jump. But, unlike others, here about, HD is a budget a bit too far for me. Good luck MH with your work and the very best too!
