External monitor use

I have Vegas 6 and a 3DFORCE FX 5200TV card with analogue video outputs. I have set the "preview on external monitor" button but cannot get a picture on the external monitor.

The 1394 output from the same card works OK. and, we have had the external monitor working before with Vegas 4.

Any suggestions

The only external output is from the firewire output or a BMD card if you have the hardware. Anything else isn't accurate, and anything else isn't wired for Vegas' external output.
