I have seen LCD TV / Monitors which has Firewire inputs. Did anyone try this type of monitors to use as an external preview device in Vegas?. If I can use it an an external monitor using firewire, I don't need to buy Digital to Analog converter like Canopus ADVC 110 to see the project in an external monitor. Please share your experience and thoughts.

Some of the Sony monitors have a firewire option card, you'd buy several ADVC 300's for the price and the 110/300 also gives you the ability to capture analogue.
If you're talking about consummer TVs don't know, haven't seen any with firewire ports.

My 65" Sony HDTV has firewire input. I hook my FX1 up and can control the FX1 thru my TV remote.

The manual says something about not plugging your computer into it. I haven't tried it because I don't want to blow up my beautiful TV!

Several Mitsubishi projectors and TVs and some LG sets will accept cameras.

Can you find and old DV camera? I still use my Sony TRV330 for quick conversions.
