'extra' file too large?

I have a DVD Architect 3.0 project with a .mpeg and an .ac3 file.
The 'estimated project size' is 2,383.4 MB (51% of a 4.700 GB media).
When I add an 'Extra' folder containing a WMV HD file and 'prepare'" the project, I get a message "One or more files in the extra folder are too large".
Estimated project size: 3,947.1 MB ( 84% of 4.700 GB media)
Why am I getting this error message when only 84% of the media is used?
Thanks,
Jim

Is the extra 1.6GB all in one file? I can't remember if there is a hard-and-fast restriction on the maximum size of the file on a DVD when using certain file systems (you can make a DVD with several different file systems).

If you have Nero, that is a MUCH better way to prepare DVDs that also have "extras." You can have more than one folder, and the files don't get physically moved from their original location. I think there are other advantages as well. When Sony added the "extras" feature in 3.x, they built enough of a feature that they can list it in their marketing literature, but it is not enough of a feature to actually be useful, in my opinion.

Yes, the 'extra' file is a WMV HD version of the mpeg file. 1.45 GB. You are probably right, there must be a file size restriction. I'll give Nero a try.
Thanks, Jim
