Fad in and out help

I know that if I right click in the Timeline on the track above my video or photo I can select Inset Text.

And the text editor come up and I can type my text in and on the top left hand side of the TEXT Graphic in the timeline there is a Slider that I can drag to the right to have the text fade in.

and it works when I play it my text fades in but then when it goes it does not fade out it just pops off the screen.

Ware is the slider for the fadout?
I am in Movie Studio 8.0 when I do this

Fading out is absolutely identical to fading in, except that you drag the upper right corner of the event to the left instead of dragging the upper left corner to the right.

My son is 32 years old. He has always been one to NEVER read the manual, he would ty to figure it out for himself. Very frustrating.

My sons name is Brian, often misspelled as Brain.
Not one and the same.
Just wanted to show that he isn't the only one that refuses to read manuals.
Don't know why, I know he can read.

My instrumental music teacher always used to say, "manuals are for when all else fails."

That being said, i should probably admit that in 12 years of using SonicFoundry / SONY software i've probably read a grand total of 3 pages' worth of the manuals, or maybe substantially less. I find their software so intuitive and easy to use that i rarely ever have to refer to the instructions. It all just makes sense.

Big hints:

1) look at all the menus, pull them all down and read them

2) try clicking on everything

3) try right-mouse-button clicking on everything

You'll be amazed at how much you learn in half an hour if you try these three things.
