You can't do it in DVDAS, but you can add the fades in Vegas and render a new .wav file to use in DVDAS.

Or - you could use Sound Forge Studio to put a fade in - save it as the [same name]fade file then replace the current one with the fade file. It might be quicker. Of course I am assuming Sound Forge came with your particular copy of VMS.

if SFS a Platinum only feature then i don't have it.. but i'll take a look..

It's unlikely. Sound Forge is rarely ever bundled with any version of Vegas.

Adding the fades in Vegas and rendering to a new .wav file should take almost exactly the same amount of time as doing it in Sound Forge, so there wouldn't be any benefit to doing it either way.
