Fading from 100% to 50%

Ok, So I don't know much about Vegas, or audio. So I guess that's why I'm here

So what I to do is simple, I want to take the music track I, and have it fade from 100% to 50%. Any ideas?

Do you mean that you want to decrease the audio volume?

If yes, right click on the track and add a volume envelope.
