Have had exactly the same error message a few times.
Had me perplexed as I couldn't see what it was affecting. I access all of my media from a shared HUGE Terrabyte server. I 'hard' shutdown the system and it went away. I think (?) it had to do with not being able to access all my disks(?)
Strange one!!

Dr Kevorkian has been paroled. Would you like a link to his terminal service instead?

EDIT:

Ok
I thought it was funny

my discs arent on a server.. i have 8 drives here counting to about 2 and a half terrbytes (internal) and about half a terrbyte external through USB2

I dont think its that... BUT one thing i did notice, is that this error comes up when my wireless transmitter drivers havent kicked in (ie when teh laptop is off)
i have a USB transmitter for this machine to connct to the laptop peer to peer

wierd.. i cant reproduce it as its totally random

Remote desktop uses terminal server but I don't see why that would be active if you didn't ask it to be.

Maybe network rendering also uses it, don't know about that.

Windows terminal services is used for fast user switching. You can ignore this error, unless of course you want to do fast user switching. See the following Knowledge Base article:

ok so i have my terminal services disabled... i only use one login (2 actualy, but the "admin" is only available through manual login or through safe mode.

I dont switch anything or anyone (fast switching is somethign i dont do.. nor require to do) thing is this error is only very recent..

umm.. u know what,.. i just figured something out..
methinks its got something to do with the wireless router software.. the error pops up when my wireless router hasnt been initialised properly...

i cant determine this 100% but if the software DOESNT find my lappy (ie laptop is off or hybernating or what have you) the router will search, stay on, but after 8 or so hours, it will disable itself
This machine is on 24/7 but i have noticed this error popup after the wireless router has been disabled..

hmm.. its not abig deal as the app still runs fine..
