Failed to register with Windows Terminal Services

When starting up Vegas Pro 8.0c, I now get the following error:

'An error occurred in Vegas'

'Failed to register with Windows Terminal Services'

It wasn't doing it before, and I suspect it is the result of me changing some things in Windows (switching off some of the services allowances... for security reasons).

Could someone tell me what I need to do to fix this error? I'm running WinXP Pro SP2.

Doesn't seem to effect Vegas, but I figure it's best to fix it.

Go back into the computer services and turn "Terminal Services" back on.

Thanks, that did the trick... Is that a feature/function that is necessary on a single user machine? Didn't seem to affect Vegas... only showed the error, but seemed to work fine nonetheless.

Just a guess but maybe Vegas uses it for network rendering so it runs a check at startup?
